Just wanted to drop a quick line and let you know that I will be leaving Taraz tomorrow - April 22nd at 10:00PM - so 11AM your time. But unfortunately - I was infomred last night that the passport used to take a day to get done and now takes three days - so I will be in Almaty until April 30th or May 1st.
Most importantly - tomorrow will be very busy and then I won't have the same coordinator in Almaty (the coordinator here watches Logan for me to get to the internet) - so PLEASE do not be surprised if I am not in email contact the next week or so.
I of course will call Larry and get a number that I can be reached at - I may have the same cell phone :-) that he calls me at now. Not sure if I will be at a hotel or apartment in Almaty yet - will find out on Friday morning when I arrive.
What's another 3 days when you've been gone this long? ;) :( I'm at a point that I don't know what day or date is is anymore!!
Today I'm going to lunch with the Americans who live in Almaty and then dinner with the Interlink Resources (Dave & Teresa) - so my last few days here will be busy.
All the couples passed their guardianship hearing - so we went to dinner to celebrate last night.
Teresa looked into Logan's ear and couldn't get a good look - but said since his nose is clear and he is sleeping - that he most likely doesn't have an ear infection.
