next day's entry
Dear Journal,

Well I have been home for about 4 days now.

I have been so busy I haven't had a chance to do a Journal Entry.  It is strange how much time I had on my hands while in Kazakhstan.  Now it is back to the real world of work and taking care of Max, laundry, yard work etc.

My flight home from Kazakhstan was delayed.  We had a holdup in Amsterdam and as a result I missed my connection in Detroit.  I wound up catching a later flight home and my parents and Max met me at the airport at about 6:00pm.  Seeing Max and my parents was amazing.  I was very worried that Max may have been a bit upset with me having been gone for so long.  That was not the case.  He gave me tons of hugs and kisses and you could tell how excited he was to see me.  I gave him an action figure that I bought for him and he must have thanked me about a 100 times.  He looked like he grew a couple of inches while I was gone!

I have talked to Cyndi about 3 times or so since I have been home, plus numerous Instant Message sessions.  Cyndi is holding up alright, but she is more than ready to be home.  Logan is sick once again.  Some nights he is having trouble sleeping and he has been pretty crabby at times.  I know she misses Max like crazy and I know that he feels the same way.

Cyndi says that Vera, our coordinator, has been helping her out quite a bit with Logan.  She has been watching him very often and it gives Cyndi a break so that she can check her emails and get some rest.  She is counting down the days until her and Logan board the train for Almaty.  It will be nice for them to get to Almaty.  She will have more choices as far as restaurants go and it will just be a nice change of scenery.

Cyndi and Logan are scheduled to arrive in Cleveland at 12:40pm on April 28th.  If you can make it to the airport to welcome Cyndi and Logan that would be cool.

Cyndi has promised to email me a posting soon.  So until then.
