Dear Journal,

Yesterday we were invited to dinner by a bunch of Americans that we met that work for an organization called Interlink.  They are a humanitarian aid organization that help develop different programs to enhance people's lives here in Kazakshtan.  They cooked us a wonderful meal.  They made chicken on the grill with baked potatoes and salad.  My favorite part of the meal was  Coca Cola w/ ICE!!! and chocolate chip cookies!!!

After dinner we had a very nice conversation and wound up exchanging lots of DVD's.  They were excited to be able to watch Season 1 of 24 and we have a few new movies to watch now.  Cyndi and I feel very fortunate to have met them.  We feel that we found some people that truly know their way around Kazakhstan and could be of assistance to us if we find ourselves in any kind of jam.

Today our visits with Logan were very nice.  He is definitely over his flu or bronchitis or whatever he had.  He is extremely playful with us.  We hold him up by his hands and walk him around the room.  His strength in his legs seems to be getting much better and we wouldn't be surprised if he is walking on his own by the time we get him to Cleveland.

Tonight we are having a rare night in.  I think we go out socially more in Kazakhstan than we do in Cleveland.  I suppose that it helps that at this point we don't need a babysitter.  I think we are going to watch The Princess Bride this evening.

Tomorrow we are taking our donation gifts to the orphanage.  Tuesday is our court date.  We have our fingers crossed that everything will go alright.  I think we both will breath a sigh of relief once we get past that and Logan is with us at the hotel.

Not much else to say.

Until tomorrow,
Larry and Cyndi
