Today was a very good day.
We headed to the hospital at 11:00 for our visit with Logan. We met with the doctor who told us that we could take him back to the babyhouse at 4:00pm. We then visited with him for about an hour. I had brought my camera and started taking some pictures. All the moms were fascinated with the digital camera and wanted their pics taken with their kids.
After the visit I dowloaded all of the pics to a CD and took it to a photo shop. I got a couple copies of each picture and we took them with us when we went to pickup Logan. All the moms were so excited to have pictures. We also showed them pictures of our family back home. It is amazing the warmth we felt from all of the moms, in contrast to how we felt our first day at the hospital.
We then found out that our court date will be Tuesday April 6th. That means that this Tuesday will most likely be Logan's last Tuesday at the babyhouse. If all goes as planned Logan will be with us in the hotel on April 6th. Of course that is if we aren't haunted by Cyndi's sordid past during our court hearing. ;-)
Talked to my Mom and Tami today. They put together a nice care package for us. Alot of Tami's coworkers donated medicine and clothes for the orphange. UPS wants close to $500 to ship the box to us. So much for shipping stuff to Kazakhstan. But we wanted to thank Tami's friends at the Animal Hospital for the thought. We really appreciate it and I am really going to miss the Pop Tarts that were included in that package. :-(
