| Dear Journal, We just got back from the baby house. We had about a 45 minute visit with Logan before he had to be taken to the hospital for his antibiotic. He seems to be better, but his breathing is pretty strained. Sounds like whatever he has, it is breaking up and all of it is sitting in his chest. We tried to get some juice in him, but I don't think he was to into the flavor we brought for him. Looks like it is back to Pineapple, Orange, Bananna tomorrow. He is slowly starting to get more used to me. I figure that isn't too bad. He has only known me about a week and a half and I know of people who have known me for much longer than that and they still aren't used to me. ;-) He actually let me hold him for awhile before he reached for Cyndi today. I also got to hold him in the car on the way to the hospital. I explained to him that with all that this adoption is costing me I get to hold him sometimes too!!! ;-) I was unfaithful today. :-( After over 10 years of being loyal to Shelby, I had a haircut from someone else. The most amazing thing is that the haircut only cost me about $3.00. I might come to Kazakhstan for all my haircuts!!! It feels good to have the beard trimmed and I figure I should look presentable for court on Monday. Monday we go for the guardianship hearing. The following week we will hopefully have our court date in which we are granted custody of Logan. Can't come soon enough if you ask me. This afternoon our coordinators took us to a museum that showed the history of this city. The city has been around for over 2000 hundred years. It seems like it was conquered and rebuilt several times over the course of that time. It was pretty interesting. We took lots of pictures for Logan will be able to show them to him when he gets older. I'm sure he'll be like what's with the pictures of all of this old stuff. ;-) We were told that we need to switch our hotel rooms next week to the floor one up from us. They explained to us that the President of Kazakhstan's daughter is going to be staying in the hotel and that she requires the entire floor to herself. I politely explained to the people at the hotel that it is all well and good that her dad is President, but I am the son of Stan and Claudia Keilin and where I come from that holds some serious weight. It appears that we are going to have to switch rooms anyway. I'll try to add some pictures tomorrow. Later On, Larry |
